About Me

I am a third-year studying Applied Physiology and Kinesiology on the Pre-Med track at the University of Florida. I aspire to go to medical school and become a Sports Medicine Physician in the future. My academic interests have led me to focus on research in orthopedics, where I specialize in comparing ACL graft types to enhance surgical outcomes and rehabilitation techniques. Outside of academics, I am passionate about soccer, running and traveling. Being from Miami, I also enjoy spending time at the beach and value time with my family and friends, embracing an active and balanced lifestyle.

Involvements

Leadership

As the Social Media Chair for the Orthopedic Athletic Medicine Club, I manage our social media presence, creating content to engage our community and promote events. I also serve as an Anatomy Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida, where I guide students through complex anatomical concepts and support their learning process.

Professional Experience

As an assistant coach for two young girls' travel soccer teams with Miami Beach Parks and Recreation, I served as a mentor, helping them learn to love and excel in the sport. At SoulCycle, I worked as a Studio Crew member, where I managed client check-ins, handled phone inquiries, and set up clients for classes. At ChillN Nitrogen Ice Cream, I focused on preparing ice cream and taking customer orders, further enhancing my customer service skills.

Service

My volunteer work with Fit For All and Special Olympics has given me the opportunity to assist individuals with special needs in tailored exercise routines, enhancing their physical and mental well-being. Through these experiences, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of physical activity in improving quality of life.

Extracurriculars

I was a proud member of the UF Women's Soccer Team during my freshman year, where I developed a strong sense of teamwork and discipline. I am now actively involved in the Florida Running Club, where I continue to pursue my passion for fitness. As a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, I volunteer in various parts of the community, engaging with people from different backgrounds who share a common interest in medicine.
